Preparation Before Use

• Inspect the fixture: Check the SiC connection tape fixture for any damage, such as cracks, deformations or loose parts, before using it. Ensure that all components are in good condition to avoid affecting the connection effect.
• Clean the surface: Clean the surface of the SiC connection tape and the fixture to remove dust, grease and other contaminants. This can improve the adhesion and electrical conductivity between the SiC connection tape and the fixture.

• Prepare tools: Prepare the necessary tools, such as tweezers, pliers and soldering irons, according to the specific connection requirements.

Installation Process

• Positioning the SiC connection tape: Place the SiC connection tape on the designated position of the fixture accurately. Make sure that the tape is aligned with the connection points on the fixture to ensure good electrical contact.
• Fixing the connection tape: Use appropriate methods to fix the SiC connection tape on the fixture. For example, if the fixture has clips or grooves, gently press the connection tape into them to ensure a firm fixation. In some cases, soldering may be required to connect the SiC connection tape to the fixture. When soldering, use a suitable soldering iron and solder, and control the soldering temperature and time to avoid damaging the SiC connection tape or the fixture.
• Checking the connection: After fixing the SiC connection tape, check the connection again to make sure that there is no looseness, misalignment or poor contact. You can use a multimeter to test the electrical conductivity to ensure that the connection is normal.

Use and Maintenance During Operation

• Avoid overloading: When using the SiC connection tape fixture, do not exceed its rated current, voltage and power capacity to avoid overheating and damage to the connection tape and the fixture.
• Monitor the temperature: During operation, especially in high-power applications, monitor the temperature of the SiC connection tape and the fixture. If the temperature is too high, take measures to cool it down in time, such as improving the heat dissipation conditions or reducing the load.
• Regular inspection and maintenance: Regularly check the condition of the SiC connection tape fixture, including the tightness of the connection, the integrity of the tape and the fixture. If any problems are found, repair or replace the damaged parts in time.
